Improve effects of mental health through the Project Based Learning and structure of psycho-education model

本研究探讨一项以和平文化活动为基础的地方行动如何有助于学生和当地居民的心理健康改善。本文从项目学习和心理教育的角度对这一问题进行了阐述。学生们自己制定了和平活动的计划，当地人也支持这一计划。它用文章“社区意识标准（kyoudoutaikankakushakudo）”（高坂，2011）来衡量效果。并对参与者的印象主义散文进行了定性分析。其结果是，通过和平活动，人们的归属感、自信心和贡献感得到了提高，对和平与人权的理解也得到了增强。探讨了和平活动对提高大学生心理健康水平的必要性和有效性。

This study discusses how a local action, which is based on the peaceful and cultural activity, contributes to the mental health improvement of the students and local people. It aims to elucidate it from the viewpoint of the project based-learning and psycho-education. Students make a plan of the peaceful activity by themselves and local people supported that. It measures the effect with the article “The Community Sense Standard (kyoudoutaikankakushakudo)” (Takasaka, 2011). Moreover, it analyzes impressionistic essay of the participant qualitatively. As a result, it shows the improvement of the feeling of belonging, confidence and contribution, and the sense of the understanding about peace and human right after the peaceful activity. Furthermore, it discusses the necessity and effectiveness of the peaceful activity for the improvement of the mental health.
