A research on community-based welfare support system of male family caregivers

本研究通过对家庭照顾者和专业人员进行问卷调查，获取男性家庭照顾者社区福利支持体系建设的相关数据。结果表明：(1)家庭照顾者的求助行为受到家庭成员、当地社区和专业人员（护理、医疗和福利服务）关系的影响。(2)男性家庭照顾者倾向于既不向朋友求助也不向邻居求助。在本研究中，我们建议有必要利用与现有专业人员（护理，医疗和福利服务）的关系，与社区中的社会资源建立相互支持的关系。

This study conducted the questionnaire survey to family caregivers and professionals in order to obtain the data about construction of the community-based welfare support system of male family caregivers. As a result, we clarified as follows: (1) Help-seeking behaviors of family caregivers were influenced by relations with their family members, the local community and professionals (nursing, medical and welfare services). (2) Male family caregivers tended to ask neither their friends nor neighborhood for help. In this study, we suggested that it is necessary to establish a mutually supportive relationship with social resources in the community, utilizing relations with the existing professionals (nursing, medical and welfare services) .
