Anxiety is a common mental health issue that can have a negative impact on children and adolescents. Early intervention is key to helping young people identify and manage anxiety. This innovative project is an interactive virtual reality (VR) Wellness application designed for users, age 12+, as an early intervention tool to help with the identification, prevention and self-management of anxiety.The App will be accessible on widely used devices such as smartphones and tablets. VR has been shown to be an effective tool for education and training, and has the potential to be a powerful tool for helping young people learn about and manage anxiety. By providing this innovative VR tool, we hope to help more young people identify and manage anxiety, and prevent the negative impacts that it can have on their lives.The immersive experience allows users to interact with a virtual world and will help identify potential issues early and provide users with tools and techniques to help reduce negative thoughts and build healthy ones.With the help of SMEs and experts The VR Hive can fine tune this application to be as impactful and effective as possible for the benefits of the end user.
