We are going to design a Dolby Atmos Premier sound mixing theatre, targeting major studio feature films and Netflix series, bringing their post-production work to the North of England while contributing to the growth of a creative community in the region and offering our facilities to local, independent films.Dolby Atmos is an incredible mixing format that allows for up to 128 speakers to be employed in the mixing process. Immersive detail is added by positioning sounds above and around the viewer. Film sound can now be experienced in 3 dimensions; height, width and front-to-back. You will be able to hear the work produced in the sound mixing theatre on films and TV shows via Netflix and in cinemas, TV's, mobile and phones.
