NIDDM PRIMARY PREVENTION TRIAL

Cellcept或Mycophenolate是一种免疫抑制药物，可阻断肌醇磷酸化转化为胍。 已经用于成人肾和肝移植，本研究将评估该药物在将接受肾移植的儿童中的安全性和有效性。主要疗效终点是前6个月内发生排斥反应的患者比例。

Cellcept or Mycophenolate is an immunosuppresive drug which blocks the phosphoralation of inositol to convert it to guanidine. Already used in renal and liver transplants in adults, this study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of the drug in children who will undergo renal transplant. The primary efficacy endpoint is the proportion of patients with a rejection episode in the first 6 months.
