'We are not asking you to spy, but look out for troubling behaviour'; White Teacher Responses to Prevent

在我的研究中，我使用了“精神伤害”的文献(Levinson，2015)来研究教师如何驾驭决定是否报告儿童的道德负担。此外，笔者借鉴了Korobov(2005)和Gee(2005)的研究成果，提出了运用语篇分析来分析教师话语的方法框架。这是为了挖掘教师如何利用更广泛的话语来使他们在假设的预防案件中采取的某些行动合法化。

Framing my research, I use the literature of a 'moral injury' (Levinson, 2015) to examine how teachers navigate the ethical burden of deciding whether to report a child. In addition, I draw a methodological framework from Korobov (2005) and Gee (2005) and propose to analyse teacher talk using discourse analysis. This is to excavate the ways in which teachers might draw upon wider discourses to legitimise certain actions they would take in a hypothetical Prevent case.
