Improving Mocean WEC Power Performance through Wave Channel Optimisation

The overall objective of the project is to improve Mocean WEC performance through wave channel optimisation approaches, this will be achieved with two main aims:1. Carrying out device geometry optimisationWith a focus on wave channel geometriesUsing low-fidelity modelsTo maximise the Annual Energy Production (AEP)2. Verifying the optimised geometry with higher fidelity CFD modelsTo identify the differences in results between high and low-fidelity approachesTo recognise whether the optimal candidate aligns with CFD results
