4)评估CHOP/Penn中心的性能。
PROJECT SUMMARY ADMINISTRATIVE CORE The central mission of the proposed Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and University of Pennsylvania (Penn) Center for Machine Learning in Urology (CMLU) is to apply machine learning to improve understanding of the pathophysiology, diagnosis, risk stratification, and prediction of treatment responses of benign urological disease among children and adults. Under the leadership of Dr. Gregory Tasian, the purpose of the Administrative Core is to direct the CMLU to ensure that it effectively and efficiently accomplishes its mission. To this end, the Administrative Core will administer the Educational Enrichment Program and create the infrastructure for scientific collaboration and communication within the CHOP/Penn Center and between other Exploratory Centers and NIDDK-funded programs. Through the Educational Enrichment Program, the Administrative Core will facilitate access of KURe recipients, UroEpi programs, P20 Developmental Center and O’Brien Center Investigators to the knowledge and expertise of CHOP and Penn investigators. Collectively, the Administrative Core programs will increase the strength of the benign urologic research community through interactive forums with the research base that generate new ideas, provide training in the application of machine learning, and disseminate research findings. The Administrative Core will advance the central mission of the CMLU through four synergistic Specific Aims. 1) To enhance and expand the larger benign urologic research community. 2) To create the infrastructure for implementing the strategic vision of the CHOP/Penn Center. 3) To direct the CHOP/Penn Center Educational Enrichment Program. 4) To evaluate the performance of the CHOP/Penn Center. The innovative structure of the Administrative Core is designed to break down silos by establishing relationships with investigators within CHOP and Penn and with the broader urologic research community, and availing the resources and findings of the CMLU to all stakeholders. These innovative activities include coaching clinics, interinstitutional exchange programs for trainees and junior investigators, a summer research fellowship, and an annual research symposium. In addition, we will provide a robust web presence to facilitate dissemination and building a research community. Web resources include an educational hub and open-access repository for all work products of the CMLU, both of which will help investigators within and outside of CHOP/Penn to apply machine learning tools to generate knowledge that improves the care for children and adults with benign urologic disease. The infrastructure provided by the Administrative Core will help to improve outcomes for individuals across the lifespan and create new opportunities for the wider research community to learn how to apply machine learning to the study of benign urologic disease.
