Durham College requests an NSERC Applied Research Tools and Instruments Grant to establish a brew microbiology lab - or BrewLab. The Lab will consist of a 50L micro brewing Pilot System including microbiological tools for yeast propagation and analysis, including a yeast lab and yeast bank. Related equipment and databases will house, propagate, and maintain yeast strains and permit scientific analysis of the microbial integrity of various beer products.
