Durham College requests an Applied Research Tools and Instruments Grant to acquire a FORTUS 360mcTM System Rapid Prototyper. This type of 3D modeller uses a variety of thermoplastics to reproduce the dimensional properties of trial-ready prototypes of all kind, in-house, and at a low cost. These rapid prototypers are increasingly used by researchers, manufacturers, and inventors as they accelerate the design and manufacturing process and enable companies to bring products to market sooner.
