子宫内膜异位症是一种免疫性疾病，十分之一的女性会受到影响。尽管是最常见的女性生殖疾病之一，其特征是衰弱的月经疼痛、性交不适、异常阴道出血、慢性盆腔疼痛和不孕不育，但该病仍然被误诊、误解和治疗不力。子宫内膜异位症目前还没有快速诊断方法。目前以激素为基础的疗法部分无效，并有显著的副作用。该项目的目标是利用Syng PharmPharmticals Inc.之前进行的工作和La Cité学院生物创新技术获取中心的专业知识，开发首个此类快速、非侵入性的子宫内膜异位症诊断试剂盒。

Endometriosis is an immunologic condition that affects one in ten women. Despite being one of the most prevalent female reproductive disorders characterized by debilitating menstrual pain, discomfort during intercourse, abnormal vaginal bleeding, chronic pelvic pain and infertility, the disease remains misdiagnosed, misunderstood, and ineffectively treated. There is no rapid diagnosis for endometriosis. Current hormone-based therapies are partly ineffective and have significant side effects. The goal of this project is to take advantage of previous works conducted by SYNG Pharmaceuticals Inc. and the expertise of the Technology Access Center in Bio-Innovation - College La Cité, to develop the first-of-its-kind rapid and non-invasive diagnostic kit for endometriosis.??
