Drug-nanoparticleconjugatesareconvenienttargetstoenhancesolubilityandmembranepermeability ofdrugs,prolongcirculationtimeandminimizenon-specificuptake.Thebehaviorofdrugs-loaded nanoparticlesisgovernedbyvariousfactors.Understandingoftheseeffectsisveryimportantfordesign ofdrug-nanoparticlesystems,thatcouldbesuitablefortreatingtheparticulardiseases.Theaimof thecurrentstudyisacomplementarymoleculardockingfollowedbyquantitativestructure-activity relationshipsmodelingfordrugspayloadonpolymericnanoparticles.Twenty-oneapproveddrugs wereconsidered.Dockingofdrugswasperformedtowardsasimplifiedpolymericsurface.Binding energiesagreedwellwiththeobservedmassloading.Quantitativestructure-activityrelationships modelsupportedthisdata.Effectsofelectronegativityandhydrophobicitywerediscussed.Developed modelmaycontributetothedevelopmentofotherusefulnano-sizedpolymericdrugcarrierstodeliver aspectrumoftherapeuticandimagingagentsformedicalpurposes.
