The article presents a case report of an 86-year-old Japanese male with memory impairment, executive dysfunction, and urinary incontinence. Examinations showed encephalopathy (LATE), frontotemporal dementia (FTD) symptoms, and the development of dysphagia and contracted pneumonia, with the patient expiring due to lung abscess. The patient had a case of LATE, which should be considered as a differential diagnosis when FTD-like symptoms emerge with clinical Alzheimer's disease (AD).
