A homological spark complex (F U∗, E U∗, I U∗) is constructed for any good atlas U of an effective orbifold X=(X,[U]). It is proved that all these homological spark complexes are quasi-isomorphic for X. Furthermore, smooth Deligne-Beilinson cohomology H D p (X, Z (q)) of X is investigated and it is shown that the ring H ˆ∗(X) of spark classes of X is isomorphic to the subring H D∗(X, Z (∗)) of the orbifold Deligne-Beilinson cohomology ring of X.
