We study modular invariants of finite affine linear groups over a finite fieldunder affine actions and linear actions. We generalize a result of Chuai (J Algebra 318:710–722, 2007, Theorem 4.2) to anym-folds affine actions. Supposeis a subgroup andWdenotes the canonical module of. We denote bythe invariant ring ofGacting linearly onWand denote bythe invariant ring of the affine groupofGacting canonically on. We show that if, then, wheredenotes the-th Mui’s invariant of degree. Letbe the 1-dimensional affine general linear groups over the prime field. We find a generating set for the ring of vector invariantsand determine the Noether’s numberfor any.
