Rheology and Atomization Studies on Concentrated Supensions with Application to Coal Water Slurry

本研究系针对大于胶体粒径之微粒浓悬浮液之流变学及气流雾化两个相关课题，进行实验与理论研究。本论文的主要研究目的是将浓悬浮体的结构和机理应用于水煤浆技术，以提高对浓悬浮体结构和机理的认识。研究的重点放在颗粒与颗粒和颗粒与流体的相互作用受颗粒表面性质的影响。

This research is concerned with experimental and theoretical studies of two related subjects, rheology and airblast atomization, in concentrated suspensions of particles larger than colloidal sizes. The major research objective is to improve understanding of the structure and the underlying mechanisms of concentrated suspensions with application to coal water slurry (CWS) technology. Research emphasis is placed on particle-particle and particle-fluid interactions as affected by particle surface property.
