Partial support is provided for the activities of the International Technical Council (ITC), which represents the United States in the International Council for Building Research, Studies, and Documentation (CIB) at the request of the U.S. Department of State. Support will be provided to existing U.S. Counterpart Working Commissions to the various Working Commissions of CIB. ITC currently is chairing four technical commissions: Building Economics, Water Supply and Drainage, Energy Conservation in the Built Environment, and Controls of Building Services. In addition, preparations will be made for the 1986 CIB Triennial Congress in Washington, D.C.; U.S. workshops and symposia will be hosted; ITC information will be delivered to sponsors and participants; and program planning will be undertaken.
