This equipment project will provide state-of-the-science instrumentation needed for advanced research in very large scale integration (VLSI) circuit chip system design; it consists of a VLSI workstation that includes a dedicated computer system, a high resolution color graphics display terminal, an eight pen color plotter, and a bit-pad device.
