A supermini computer will be acquired, along with increased networking capacity, and a molecular graphics workstation, for use in structural biology. A wide variety of projects in virus structure and other problems in contemporary biotechnology research will be enhanced by the additonal capacity for analysis of supramolecular structures at atomic resolution.
