Four undergraduate students are to participate in the following project areas: Student and their characterization with respect to growth characteristics and starvation survival. Student of whether cst genes are expressed during submaximal growth under different limitations. Student B. subtilis and their mapping. Student mutants with respect to growth characterization and stress-resistance. Biographical sketches of each of the students are included with the supplementary request. Three of the students are minority women.
