Dr. J. Beer, a leader in the Combustion field, has organized the US contribution to the International Symposium on Coal Combustion to be held in Beijing, China, in September of 1987. He will give the keynote lecture on Coal Science and Technology. China is one of the three leading nations in Coal production. The exchanges and contacts expected from Dr. Beer's visit will enhance the US position in managing this major source of domestic energy.
