RUI: Photoionization of Excited States of Atoms and Ions (Physics)

利用哈特里-斯莱特波函数计算了原子和离子激发态的光致电离截面和光电子角分布。我们将研究广泛的能量、原子态、核电荷和电离阶段。其目的是了解横截面和分布的系统学。哈特里-Fock级别的计算将根据需要进行。本文还提出了一种基于量子亏损理论的高激发态计算方法。

Photoionization cross sections and photoelectron angular distributions will be calculated for excited states of atoms and ions, utilizing Hartree-Slater wave functions. A broad range of energies, atomic states, nuclear charges and ionization stages will be studied. The objective is to understand the systematics of the cross sections and distributions. Hartree-Fock level calculations will be done as warranted. It is also proposed to formulate a new methodology for highly excited states based on the quantum defect theory.
