Mr. Malcolm D. E. Forbes has been awarded a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Chemistry. Mr. Forbes will receive his doctoral degree from the University of Chicago under the supervision of Professor Gerhard L. Closs. He intends to continue his research at the California Institute of Technology under the sponsorship of Professor Nate Lewis. Mr. Forbes' area of postdoctoral research will be picosecond studies of electron transfer kinetics at semiconductor/liquid interfaces.
