Dr. Tarek Sammakia has been recommended for a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Chemistry Award. Dr. Sammakia received his doctoral degree from Yale University under the supervision of Professor Stuart L. Schreiber. He intends to continue his research at Harvard University under the sponsorship of Professor David A. Evans. Dr. Sammakia's area of Postdoctoral Research is the recognition of prochiral organic molecules by chiral organometallic complexes; applications to catalytic asymmetric synthesis.
