This award will provide funds to support the Eleventh International Symposium on the Reactivity of Solids in Princeton, NJ, June, 1988. This meeting, which covers he broad area of solid state chemistry and materials chemistry from the synthesis of new materials using novel approaches, through their characterization to potential applications, will be the first in the series in twenty years to be held in the United States.
