Second-Order Inelastic Analysis for Frame Design

研究内容包括：(1)建立了钢框架结构实用二阶弹塑性分析中考虑杆件非弹性稳定效应的程序；(2)考虑和表征了实用二阶弹塑性分析的各种方法；(3)研究基于不同的非弹性分析方法进行适当设计所需满足的适当极限状态条款，以及(4)灵活的计算机辅助设计方法的定义，该方法将允许工程师在钢框架构件和连接的配比过程中纳入非弹性分析。

This research involves (1) the development of procedures for consideration of member inelastic stability effects in practical second-order inelastic analysis of steel frame structures, (2) the consideration and characterization of various methods for practical second-order inelastic analysis; (3) the investigation of appropriate limit state provisions that would need to be satisfied for proper design based on different methods of inelastic analysis, and (4) the definition of flexible computer- aided design methodologies which will allow the engineer to incorporate inelastic analysis in the process of proportioning steel frame members and connections.
