Seismic Resistance of Composite Coupled Structural Walls

本课题研究钢筋混凝土墙体与钢梁连体的循环性能。关于这种组合结构的信息很少，这种结构在国家地震区得到了越来越多的应用。本课题研究内容涉及组合双肢墙的设计、施工、试验和分析研究，即钢梁连体钢筋混凝土墙。由钢筋混凝土墙墩的一半、钢连梁的一半和部分楼板组成的隔震连接将承受模拟地震效应的循环横向荷载。轴向荷载对边界单元、楼板和水平荷载强度的影响将是主要变量。这项研究将导致建立该组合结构体系的设计准则。

This project studies the cyclic behavior of reinforced concrete walls coupled with steel beams. Little information is available about such composite constructions which have seen increased application in the nation's seismic zones. The research undertaken in this project involves design, construction, experimental testing, and analytical study of composite coupled walls, i.e. reinforced concrete walls coupled by structural steel beams. Isolated connections representing a subassemblage of one-half of a reinforced concrete wall pier, one-half of a steel coupling beam,and part of floor slab will be subjected to cyclic lateral loads simulating earthquake effects. Effects of axial load on the boundary element, floor slab, and the lateral load intensity will be the primary variables. The study will lead to the establishment of design guidelines for this composite structural system.
