This is a Small Grant for Exploratory Research (SGER) to do the following tasks for the EPSCoR States: 1) Determine the feasibility of establishing an EPSCoR Incubation Center in the European Economic Community (EEC). 2) Meet with NSF program officials to solidify the research design and explore alternate partners and locations. 3) Establish and EPSCoR Advisory Committee for review & guidance. 4) Identify by sample possible firms from EPSCoR States which may have an interest in locating in an incubation center in the EEC. 5) Research and identify a location and strategic partner for an incubation center in the EEC. 6) Develop program needs of U. S. based EPSCoR companies considering international expansion. 7) Identify market and market strategy for EPSCoR based firms in the EEC. 8) Develop a financial plan for the EPSCoR Incubation Center. 9) Explore alternate funding resources for such an center.
