Support for a Symposium: Volume Regulation

This proposal requests funds for support of the participation of scientists in an international symposium entitled "Cellular volume Regulation: Mechanisms and Control" to be held at the joint meeting of the American Physiological Society, the Division of Comparative Physiology and Biochemistry of the American Society of Zoologists, and the Society for Experimental Biology. The latter group is hosting the meeting; the venue is Cambridge, England, August 9-11, 1992. The award program will be administered by the organizers of the symposium, Drs. L. Deaton and S. Pierce.
