This award is for the funding of a workshop to investigate the equipment and personnel needs for the next 10 years for conducting experimental research in CISE disciplines within Universities. The Computing Research Association will coordinate the workshop which brings together a small group of individuals from academe and industry to discuss the research needs. Dr. Andries Van Dam of Brown University is the workshop chairman.
