Southwest Virginia Summer Scholars Program

An effective interdisciplinary integrated hands-on model science instruction has been developed and used with underserved-able high school students during the summer months. Science and writing are emphasized in addition to field research. This year the project will be expanded upon and a source book developed for use by others wishing to imoplement this type of program.
