New Techniques in Water Sciences

为期两周的讲习班是在科罗拉多州丹佛市的国家培训中心举办的，对象是选定的25名从事水文学和水资源导论课程的本科学院教员。讲习班的主要目的是：(a)使参加者了解最新的水文学科学和用于测量、分析和计算水文流量、地表水和地下水资源以及污染物负荷和后果的技术；(b)装备和鼓励这些教师在课堂上使用最新的水资源信息和教学材料。讲习班参加者编写的教育材料将在1993年秋季举行的美国水资源协会第二十九届年度会议上提出。

The two-week workshop is being conducted at the National Training Center in Denver, Colorado, for 25 selected undergraduate college instructors of introductory courses with hydrology and water resources content. The major purposes of the workshop are: (a) to bring participants up-to-date on the science of hydrology and those technologies used to measure, analyze, and calculate hydrologic flows, surface and groundwater resources, and pollutant loadings and consequences, and (b) to equip and encourage these teachers to use the latest in water resources information and instructional materials in their classrooms. Educational materials developed by Workshop participants will be presented at the Twenty-Ninth Annual American Water Resources Association Conference in Fall 1993.
