Travel support will be provided to permit greater participation than would otherwise be possible for contributing US participants in the upcoming 18th. International Congress for Theoretical and Applied Mechanics. The congress is to be held in August 1992 in Haifa. US contributions are rigorously screened by a select technical committee. Travel help will be biased towards deserving young scientists and engineers. US participation will afford a unique opportunity for updating the comunity on international developments in this important area, key to technologies in Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, and Civil/Environmental Engineering.
