A symposium entitled "Interacting Binary Stars" will be held in San Diego from July 13 to July 16, 1993 in conjunction with the annual meeting of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific. Topics to be included will span the entire range of binary star research. By bringing together investigators with a wide variety of interests, the symposium is intended to acquaint participants with work in areas closely related to their own research.
