This is a conference that attracts over 400 abstracts from research groups world-wide. This event is held every four years, and has its origins in 1958. It is the principal forum for reporting on work on Shock Waves as well as their applications to aeronautics, mechanical engineering, physics, chemistry and biology. Abstracts is a wide variety of areas are considered for the program.
