The C-project serves as the central coordinating structure of this Clinical Research Unit regarding financial issues, research, tissue banking, management of clinical data, maintenance of the central database, biometric support, scientific education, and organization of meetings. The C-project is also responsible for representing the Clinical Research Unit in the public and will report to the DFG. For further details please see also the introduction part. Additionally, the C-Project will be responsible for the standardized and automated detection of CTCs in blood samples taken from every CRC patient who is undergoing surgery in the Department of Surgery.
