Exercise training is the most promising treatment approach to improve exercise capacity in heart failure with preserved ejection fraction. However, large randomized and multicenter trials are lacking. Ex-DHF is the by far largest trial addressing this issue. Recruitment and follow-up are completed. Only the final analyses, based on core lab measurements, need to be completed.
