英文摘要
The proposal is motivated by the dynamic fracture processes evaluation in piezoelectric materials (PEM) with multiple cracks. This analyze has application in engineering design and monitoring of smart and intelligent systems made of PEM, satisfying the increasing demand for high strength, high toughness, low thermal expansion coefficient, low dielectric constants, corrosion-resistance and wear-resistance properties and finally for lower failure rates during manufacturing and service processes. The aim of the present study is to create mechanical models and BIEM tools for solution of the wave scattering problems for multiple cracks in piezoelectric solids. The solution method is the non-hypersingular traction BIEM based on a fundamental solution derived by the Radon transforms for solution of the proposed 2D mechanical elastodynamics models. The implementation of the developed method into BIEM software using parabolic type of discretization and special quarter-point boundary elements that model asymptotic behavior of the generalized near-fields will be done. Parametric studies will be proceeded in order to evaluate such important effects as: geometry of the mutual cracks configuration and disposition, the loading frequency, the incident wave angle, the type of the incident wave and the dynamic interaction phenomena between cracks on the resulting dynamic and electric SlFs, the effect of the different electric boundary conditions on the fracture properties of the PEM with multiple cracks.
