Graduate student research conference on algebra and representation theory

2006年春季，堪萨斯州立大学将举办一次关于代数和表示论的研究生研究会议。会议有两位主讲人分别在交换代数和表示论领域。剩下的演讲都是研究生做的。会议的组织者仅限于研究生.会议的主要特点之一是鼓励来自不同大学的研究生与他们未来的同事进行互动和结识。会议还将鼓励妇女和代表性不足的少数民族学生参加。

A graduate student research conference on algebra and representation theory will be held atKansas State University in the spring of 2006. The conference features two keynotespeakers in the fields of commutative algebra and representation theory respectively. The restof the talks will be all by graduate students. The organization of the conference will be bygraduate students only. One of the main features of the conference is to encourage graduate studentsfrom different universities to interact and get acquainted with their future colleagues.The conference will also encourage women and underrepresented minority students to participate.
