This proposal is for a workshop focusing on issues surrounding campus cyberinfrastructure. EDUCAUSE has formed a Campus Cyberinfrastructure (CCI) Working Group, and this workshop is intended to be a formative event where areas and issues will be defined and directions set for what amounts to an ongoing dialog in the community moving forward. High performance computing clusters comprise a major CI element common to many campuses across the US and the proposal notes it as a focus item for discussions, such as within the context of campus support models. Among the outcomes, a whitepaper will be produced sketching out the issues in campus CI including data center implications.
