0733468LifsetFunds will provide partial support for the publication of a special issue of the Journal of Industrial Ecology focused solely on peer-reviewed articles describing the actual use of research involving Material Flows Analysis (MFA) in environmental policy making and management. Despite the dramatic growth in the methodological rigor of MFA, its practical utility remains to be fully realized. The goal of the special issue is to document examples of the use of MFA, explore insights obtained from them, and assess the leverage for environmental problem solving provided. The contents of the special issue will be available without charge on the web.
