US-Japan Workshop: LCA of Sustainable Infrastructure Materials; held in Sapporo, Japan, October 2009

This award will support a joint US-Japan Workshop on US-Japan Workshop: Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of Sustainable Infrastructure Materials to be held in Sapporo Japan in October 2009. The workshop is being organized by the Center for Innovative Materials Research (CIMR) of Lawrence Technological University in conjunction with the Stanford University Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. The Workshop will be hosted by the Civil Engineering Department at Hokkaido University in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. The goal of the workshop is to convene a meeting of researchers and thinkers mainly from Japan and US, to confer on the use of LCA for sustainable materials in bridge infrastructure.
