Purpose of the project is the development of a central information system that integrates the storage of the heterogeneous data (sequence, expression, image, and phenotypic) generated by the consortium. It provides a unified framework for multiple related threads of data analysis. A series of analysis pipelines will be provided capturing e.g. annotation of genomes, assembly and annotation of transcriptomes from RNA-seq data, quantification of differential expression, the inference of FTi networks and image analysis. The pipelines will be composed of publicly available software tools as well as customized components specific to applications of flowering plant data.
