The Priority Programme 1527 on Autonomous Learning promotes and funds German research on the foundations of learning systems. The research goal are novel concepts and methods that take the next step, from classical Machine Learning to autonomous learning in systems that interact and explore a complex environment.The coordination of this Priority Programme has the goal foster networking and fruitful collaboration between the researchers in this area. For this, we will coordinate the following instruments:yearly symposia to the participants of the Priority Programme,organization and funding of international workshops and a dedicated summer school on the topic of Autonomous Learning,a mutual visiting programme for researchers and PhD students working in the participating projects (lab rotation programme),the organisation and support of all network activities such as the exchange of data, software and lecture scripts as well as their publication through a website and via video lectures.With this proposal we apply for funding of these instruments to coordinate the Priority Programme, including funding of a part time position for an assistant to coordinate and administrate the programme.
