This subproject aims at exploring the possibilities and limitations of local methods for controlling and optimizing large dynamic networks. The focus is on overlay networks, as their ability to modify their topology allows them to adapt to the requirements of applications. In the third funding period, we will focus on the challenges posed by heterogeneity of network-managed resources and hybridity of communication modes.
