TECHNICAL SUMMARY:U.S. scientists will travel to Warsaw, Poland to participate in the Acta Materialia Gold Medal Symposium, held as part of the European MRS Fall Meeting, in September 2012. This special symposium provides a venue for presentation of the most advanced research from around the world on the topic of severe plastic deformation. The U.S. scientists will present research results and interact with scientists from around the world.NON-TECHNICAL SUMMARY:U.S. scientists will participate in the Acta Materialia Gold Medal Symposium during the European MRS Fall Meeting.
