Electrochemistry represents an enabling discipline in many branches of science. The aim of this research is to integrate the collective skills of an international consortium of experts in electrochemistry, electrical engineering, computing and mathematics in order to implement a blueprint proposed for innovation in electrochemical science. In the national interest, the project will facilitate global participation in cutting-edge science derived from electrochemical concepts, provide commercial opportunities in the area of scientific instrumentation and promote technology exchange with Australian and international leading-edge research organizations.
