The aim of this project is a more precise calculation of the cross sections for the scattering of supersymmetric dark matter off Standard Model particles. It would allow for a more precise determination of the rates, with which dark matter can be detected directly on earth with scattering experiments like Xenon, and after its discovery of the supersymmetric model realised in Nature. Alternatively, new, even more sensitive experiments could be planned more reliably on the basis of these calculations. As the cross sections influence also the accretion of dark matter from the galactic halo in the earth or in the sun, these computations also contribute to more precise predictions of the rates for the indirect detection of dark matter via cosmic rays.
