This statement of work (SOW) is in support of the Four-Dimensional Weather (4DWX) System, a weather-modeling and data-processing system that ATEC runs for operational support of DOD testing. This document describes the research and development (R&D), technology transfer, and operations and maintenance (O&M) that the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC or "government") requires from the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) in fiscal year (FY) 2019.This award reflects NSF's statutory mission and has been deemed worthy of support through evaluation using the Foundation's intellectual merit and broader impacts review criteria.
