Adaptive Strategies of Taiwanese Entrepreneurs in the Context of Structural Change of the Chinese Economy: the example of the Fujian Pilot Free Trade Zone

该项目将在中国大陆福建自由贸易试验区（PFZ）进行两项额外的实地研究，以补充第一阶段的研究。福建自由贸易区包括福州市、厦门市和平潭县（平潭岛）的自由贸易区，将创造两岸边境经济，因此特别针对台商投资资本。该项目将为中国中央政府在地方层面推行经济改革提供新的见解，并为两岸关系不断变化的政治经济做出重要贡献。

The intended project complements the research of the first project phase by conducting two additional field studies in the Fujian Pilot Free Trade Zone (PFZ) in Mainland China. The Fujian PFZ comprises the free trade zones of Fuzhou City, Xiamen City and Pingtan County (on Pingtan Island) and shall create a cross-strait border economy, hence particularly targeting Taiwanese investment capital. The project will generate new insights in the implementation of economic reforms pursued the Chinese central government on the local Level and make an important contribution to the changing political economy of cross-strait Relations.
